Publish a basket

A basket is a recipe: a set of allow-listed tokens and the quantity of each that one basket token represents on the first mint. You pay a one-off licence fee in USDG and the factory deploys the contract.

Constituents

Only assets the registry has enabled can be used, and the factory checks again on chain. Pick 28 and give each a weight; leave a weight blank to leave the asset out.

What a weight means on chain

A weight of 32.00% means one basket token deposits 0.32 of that token on the first mint. The seed unit is that quantity in the token’s own decimals — 320000000000000000 for an 18-decimal token, 320000 for a 6-decimal one — because the contract hands it straight to that token’s own transfer. After the first mint, mints and redeems follow the basket’s actual holdings, not this recipe.

Fees

A streaming fee of 0 is permanent too. The rate is fixed at creation and only ever falls, so a basket published at 0 bps can never start charging for holding. If you want one, set it now — there is no way to add it afterwards, and a new basket would not carry this one’s history.

Licence fee

Reading the collector…

Once published, the composition, weights, mint fee and your curator address are fixed. There is no function to change them afterwards. The streaming fee is the one exception, and it moves in one direction only: you can lower it, never raise it.
